Wet-side yote. GOT HIM!!!
« on: January 10, 2010, 07:04:36 PM »
Made it to some high ground today (3200 ft). I usually can't hunt there this time of year. Made my first set a nd did a couple interrogation howls and answered them with a female invite. I waited about 10 min and was just about to blow the rabbit distress when he came walking in looking for a girl friend. 31 lbs and all winter coated up. 80 yds .243  55gr BT

I know that spot as well.  I have seen quite a few dogs up there.  Never while yote hunting though.  I am surprised that there was no snow.  Congrats on the dog.  Its a beauty.
