Hanford reach
« on: January 11, 2010, 12:14:12 PM »
Anybody hearing any reports how the duck hunting has been down on the lower river around RingGold.Heading down there for a 5 day run and gun.Staying at the hatchery,If anyone is down around that area stop by and say howdy..Blue cab and 1/2 newer F150 with a pop up camper in the back.Shouldn't be a bunch of people there. We are also taking the fishing rods to try for some steelhead.
Thanks..

I was up there all day Saturday and didn't see a single flyover. I did see a ton of boats and heard lots of joyous yelling and "fish ON" kinda banter....didn't take long to figure out that the Pole was mighter than the gun, up there...we didn't kick out a single bird (we were not hunting waterfowl). Also, beware the mud! the snow melt has left the roads in BAD shape...slimmy clay slopping under the rig and clogging your boots....my dog even got bowling ball sized paws, what a freaking mess.

Good Luck

Will you have a boat with you or not?
"I think I have a fish"
"probably bottom"
"bottom doesn't head shake!"
