One big whitey
« on: January 21, 2008, 08:30:32 PM »
A 9 year old in Oklahoma bagged a 41 point buck!!!!

IF YOU WILL NOTICE IN THE PICTURES, THERE IS ELECTRIC FENCING WIRE ALL IN HIS HORNS. THAT WIRE HAD MYSTERIOUSLY WENT MISSING FROM his PAPA'S BLACK-EYED PEA PATCH. Supposedly, Cabala's has offered $150,000 for the deer.

I would take that check in a heart beat too. Get my name and picture in the record books with that deer and then sell it off. I would try to wheel and deal though and see if they would give me a higher price hahah.

Take the 150K, have a replica made for about 5K, and have your trophy hanging in Cabelas. Man talk about one luck little hunter. He doesnt know that that will likely be his best ever. That is why my dad had me shoot a spike when I was 9  :chuckle: Trying to live up to that each year would be heartbreaking.

When I pass, do not let my wife sell the guns for what I told her they cost.

Sold to the highest bidder if it were mine!! Id take the cash, go on a killer hunt in Sonora, buy some acreage somewhere, maybe go hunt Cape Buffalo in Africa then go on a trophy bull hunt in New Mexico or Utah maybe. Oh yeah, might take the wife out to dinner too ;)

coon...where you going to find a few hundred acres for 150k.  If you could a fricken snake could not live on it.  Do the Africa hunt and buy a nice place for a cabin that you can hunt public land from.  I'm not taking the wife out for nothing.  Just asked if I could fix the snowmobile (burned piston while cat hunting) and she said hell no!  Fine wench I won't spend any of my Cabelas trophy money on you.   :chuckle: :chuckle:  Take the money kid put it in a Roth, and you are banked for life.  You can then spend all your work money playing instead of preparing for later.
