Thats the route I was leaning. I was gonna go heavier but thought I'd go fast with the light pills instead.

I believe Tikka .243's are 1:10 but not 100% sure.

the Tikka s are typically 1:11 twist, at least mine is....

I also do some heavier loads in Nosler but I find the best consistency in the Barnes Bullets because they are all machined instead of cast. I heavily favor a Nosler accubond on the heavier end but there is way more variation in weight from bullet to bullet. If you are not weighing and matching your bullets, then no problem. It is something I do because I can.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

I have the Tikka in the .22-250 for yotes and the .270 for deer.  Good guns.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That thing is a shooter. They weren't kidding about 3 shot groups less than an inch. I'm very happy. I shot up a box of the cheepest stuff I could find and it shot great. Can't wait to work up a load for this. Can't wait to bloody it.

I'll admit, I was pretty skeptical about all the hub bub about these Tikkas but I'm a believer. If you want a really light and afforable Varmint rifle the T3 lite is a great choice.
