I used to sweat in the muck boots / BOGs and went to an insulated rubber boot.  Those breath at the top better.  My kids all wear the BOG boots now as they always seemed to get cold feet right off the bat.  Now I never hear any complaining about cold toes from them.  It is great for the kids.
