Thanks for the compliments. The deer is gone so can't get anymore pictures. I will get closer pics when I finish the deer in the back. The stuff on the neck in the background is vandress it helps in keeping the hair in place it was cut all the way up front in the brisket or I should say hacked all the way up and I'm talking about to much drinking going on (I think) there wasn't a straight cut anywhere  :bash:. Chuck Adams signed the poster back in '92 time goes to fast. He was at the sportsman show in Seattle when they used to have great shows.

Yeah have fun with that.  Got plenty enough of those this past season.  Don't need any more.  OK, I lied I don't mind them all that much.  Just take a lot more time and sewing.

Another good one is the one that has been dragged several miles down a gravel road.  No hair on the shoulder and they want a shoulder mount using the original cape.  Got to get creative on those.

The buck thats finished the guy drug it out and rub the whole right side completely gone up to the very top of the neck. Sad part he asked if I could still use the cape. I had to use his friends cape which was a spinley 3 point. His cape was a way older buck with lots of gray and a big skull. It makes me really sad seeing how some people don't pay attention what they're doing. I guess all we can do is try to educate these people the best we can when it comes to field care. I make sure I give them fliers and explain the damage poor field care can do. I don't know if the original cape would have worked anyways after he drove around for 3 days with it in the back of his truck to show all his friends  :( :( :( :(

Yes it's a washington buck. It only took the guy 9 years to draw the late rifle hunt.

Helluva buck!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
