Saw a really nice 2x3 blacktail walking across the road yesterday with a great set of bones still securely attached.  He ducked through some low-hanging cedar limbs on the other side of the road and his rack pushed through without falling off.  I will be back checking that trail in a couple weeks!

The local blacktails in my areas are finally dropping.  Look closely.  And I found a spike today.

On Jan 29 th in northern Spokane county, saw a small group of deer near Elokia lake.  One very large bodied white tail deer, was a a buck who had shed. Spot where shed from very visible with binoc's.

Yesterday, I found the bachelor herd of muleys I was watching a couple of weeks ago but had disappeared on me.  A 4x4, a 4x3, and 2 3x3s.  All still packin'...  I did see a forkhorn muley today that was only packing one side.  Gettin' close over here...

My backyard fork showed up yesterday with big white flat spots on his head.  I guess my antler catcher didn't work.
