The pup and the old girl
« on: January 25, 2010, 08:41:03 PM »
Here are pics that Gasmann had ask for. Others said they like to see pics too.

Zoey three months

The old girl thinking shes mean  ;)

She just a baby

They look like they like each other

Just alittle story I use too have a Rotty/german shepard mix (Nakita) she was a good old dog we had to put her down do to hip problems at the age of 11 a year ago. We deceided to get a pup to keep the other one company wife deceiced to get a black lab. I found her on craigslist for $80 they said she is pure just no papers could care less she is just the new aby in the house. Have a buddy with two labs good dogs well you see what we got. Now I just may try my hand on training for a bird dog and give that a try. My buddy has been training his might have to pick his brain a little more.

great looking pup , looks pure only thing that would not make it pure is the white on her paws generally labs dont have white on them , but you cant beat what you paid for the pup

Thank you she is smart too and full of energy. A buddy ( Gasmann ) came over after I got her and said the same thing about her paws that you did. I am not going to let her have any pups and all my other dogs have been mixed and they were good dogs for the price if she is pure that is just an extra bonus for me.

I"m not sure if that is actually true. I heard it was very common for an English lab to have a white spot or two.

No matter what, it's a great looking dog. If only they could stay that size and keep that super soft coat.

Color
The Labrador Retriever coat colors are black, yellow and chocolate. Any other color or a combination of colors is a disqualification. A small white spot on the chest is permissible, but not desirable. White hairs from aging or scarring are not to be misinterpreted as brindling. Black--Blacks are all black. A black with brindle markings or a black with tan markings is a disqualification. Yellow--Yellows may range in color from fox-red to light cream, with variations in shading on the ears, back, and underparts of the dog. Chocolate--Chocolates can vary in shade from light to dark chocolate. Chocolate with brindle or tan markings is a disqualification.
