I found this pic of a buck I shot a couple years ago and thought I would share it with you. Nothing special but I'll put the story with it anyway,,,,,,
I was hunting an old over grown tree farm and found a few fresh rubs on a trail that I knew were not there the day before. Everyone was busy so I was hunting and filming on my own (I couldn't stand not to go out just because I didn't have a camera guy

) anyway, I made a ground blind out of branches and brush about 40 yards away so I could see the cross trail where the rubs were and sat down to wait,,, and wait,,, and wait,,,, Ok, I wasn't that good at waiting, so after about an hour & a half or so I talked my self into going for a walk. I left the camera on so I could watch the footage when I got back to see if anything walked by while I was gone just to torcher myself. I walked about 75 yards across to another main trail and headed deeper into the tree farm. I didn't get far when I stopped to argue with myself about my decision to leave the blind and camera. I turned around to head back and there he was, poking his head out from behind a tree ON THE TRAIL THAT WOULD HAVE TAKEN HIM RIGHT PASSED MY BLIND AND CAMERA

!!! He must have thought he was invisible because he just stood there starring at me. I looked at him through my scope, then my bino's, then back through my scope again and decided if I shot him then I would just have more time to film everyone else the rest of the season

. Sooooooo

BOOM!!! Down he went. You can hear the shot on the camera but of course he wasn't close enough to it to be on film

. Lesson learned!!! Oh well, I ran camera the rest of the season and ended up filming three other blacktail kills so I was happy. THE END!!!
