Then they hit the gas....

Bone, those are some great pictures there.  On the one you can see where a hunters pellet took out one of the primaries.  Those are some magnificent birds.  That Mallard is awesome as well.  Thanks for sharing.  John

I'd noticed that it was messed up.  Thanks for the compliments.  I was hoping to add more mallard shots but none were quite in the appropriate focus. :bash:

THose pictures are simple awsome!  Great work.

On a side note, I seen the last name on the first pic, are you one of the Methow Kikendalls?  recognized the name and looked at some old papers I got from my step-grandfather had that last name in it.  He was a Walker, married my grandmother who was born up Tunk Valley.

Thanks guys.  Yep, I am one of the Methow Kikendalls. Trying to think of the Walkers.  Lyle I think was one of the older ones, one was a Kyle, seems like there was a Kenny and I knew Mike.  I went to school with Wayne.

My grandfather was Ed and dad Duane and then myself.  Of course my great grandfather was also there.
Here is another shot.....

I think Ed was the name in the papers.  My stepgrandfather was Jasper

Nice pictures Doug!!

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
