Thanks Guys.It was Our first time hunting these birds.1 had a band on it.
The next day Harley and I ran up there and the Jack offs were shooting these birds with No Dogs So there cripples were getting away.So Harley was getting them For Me.It was great training for Him and I think He was having a blast.
A Bunch of questionable hunters at Best..

The Game Wardens,The 2 old Guys are a punch of Punk A$$ worthless F$@k's..(For the record There Dave Not You and the Young Guy That was with You)(I Know You read this :chuckle:)
These Guys should Be helpful when a question is ask instead of giving some smart A$$ answer.
We left the Blind up north and Headed to This spot. They were sitting there.I figured I would Go and ask a few quick questions..
The first words out of the One SmartA$$es mouth is "I would get Me another truck"..I said its a great truck. He said He had several reports about a truck that matches My trucks description..A Bunch of Young guys tresspassing and ground sluicing..
I told Him He should find another source of info Cuz His is all F$#ked up..My Partner is 68 years old and I'm 45 hardly Young Guys..
We just said Thanks for nothing and went about seeking permission.
Got it and bagged out and gone in less than 2 hours
What a bunch of A-Holes..Fat Bast@#S anyways..I bet the seat of His truck stinks Like His A$$ cause He spends all day sitting in it with His stupid Blankie..
Other than that had fun.
Will be back Up there this week. For more.

I AGREE WITH YOU REGARDING THAT GUY, CAN'T GET HIM OFF HIS ARRS, JUST SITS THERE, WON'T ANSWER A QUESTION WITHOUT BEING A WISE ASS AND LEAVING YOU CONFUSED. the others i have spoke with are great people, lots of info from them always friendly, its to bad that this guy makes the others look bad, sure hope he retires soon, so we can add to this newer better generation of Gamies. seems like this guy even makes things up, to add to the confusion, i have had to talk to the wildlife guys to get straight answers.

I'm sure the good olboy was just funnin ya,probably didn't mean no harm. He's tired of watching the ground pounding combat hunters and would rather be watching the outlaw fishermen, lol

Funnin is one thing But accusing is another.
There isn't a whole lot funny about being accused of being an Unethical hunter.
I can take a ribbing with the best of them. But this Guy was just being a D!ck.
These Guys/Gals should be mentors not A$$holes. They should have the answers and be happy to give good helpfull info.
If they don't like people they should find another job.

Thanks Guys for your comments.

Nice looking birds there Derek!! Sorry to hear the bad experience. Some guys just need a lil poke in the nose to bring them back to reality. Just shake it off and keep doing what you do.

Well sometimes its tough to bite ones lip but that might have been the best thing to do. But if you run into him again a few choice words might be needed. Some guys seem to think a $50k truck makes them more of a man. :pee: on them!!
Buster(he's definately a high excercise dog) and I got our limits but had to work at it. Had snow and rain a few days over there. Shawn and the gang didn't get a bird but they seemed to be stoking the fire a fair amount of the time. Still living in the same place.
Be safe out there with those clowns around.

Funnin is one thing But accusing is another.
.They should have the answers and be happy to give good helpfull info.

From your account it sounded like he gave you solid "helpfull" info about your truck and also from your account it didnt sound like you got accused.

Just curious why you think they should have all the answers?

Just my opinion here, but to me, it sounds as if you got a pretty big chip on your shoulder and it was read by those (in your words) fat arse worthless f$@k's punks...
