Mike does good work, can make a gun from scratch, comes from a long line of family gunmakers. makes some great 1000 yrd match guns, makes his own brakes and can do everything inbetween.

I've had Brett work for me, he can't hold a candle to Mike, not even in the same class of gunsmith abilities, or knowledge. Mike comes from the Beretta gun factory of old and his work is impeccable. Mikes 1000 yard guns are in the top of the top class. Brett is a good guy but... :dunno:

There is a shop in Sammamish if that is closer to you. He really seems to know his stuff. I just dropped off my odd 6 to him for some accurizing and jackelope dropped off a 300 mag I think to him for some work and a new brake. You can look him up at spot on gunsmithing in Sammamish. Has a web page and facebook.

I've been shooting competitivley (pistol) since about 92 and have never even heard of Mike Pallozo until this thread. I did a search and the guy has quite a following, looks impressive. Someone who wrote a positive review said he was a bit older and that was in 2001, so how about some stats on the guy, he has nothing on the web. Not that that makes a good gunsmith just like to know a little about the guy you turn a gun and a couple of grand over too.

Brett Evans is in Bonney Lake

Mike is somewhere near 70 years of age, he is slowing down on how much work he takes in but his work is without question, some of the finest you will find anywhere. Mike has been building custom hunting rigs and extremely accurate target rifles for, my guess? 50 years. He is one of the most honest, nicest and friendliest humane beings you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.

Mike works out of his home in a converted garage in Covington just north of the Kent Kangley on SE 164Th St, his home is very modest just as he is. You will never regret having known Mike Palazzo, he is a true gentleman and a master of firearms.

It's been a couple of years since I last visited Mike but I'm sure he is still at his lathe working away on yet another great shooter for some very lucky guy.
