Spring Turkey
« on: January 20, 2010, 03:52:59 PM »
Just got out of the military moved here from Alaska and heard that Spring turkey would be the next available season to hunt.  I'm just looking for some general guidance, don't want to to move in on anyone's area, just want to get off on the right foot.  I used the AK forums and got a lot of good help.  Thanks.

northeastern washington is a turkey mecca. lots of birds and lots of public ground. southeast can be good too.
where do you live and where do you want to hunt? in other words how far do you want to drive?

p.s. you can hunt coyotes year round if you want to hunt something...you don't have to wait for spring turkeys.

I'm in Seattle, but willing to drive a good distance for a good opportunity.  I just like getting out and seeing new places.
