Manitoba Spring Bear Special
« on: January 22, 2010, 08:47:42 AM »
Just passing this along because I know we've got a pile of hard-core bear hunters here.  I don't know this outfitter, so if you're interested, please do your homework before putting any money down.  This is a great deal for a Canada bear hunt, and Manitoba has got a ton of bears.

First 6 hunters only $1100 + lic. Took 2 Booners last spring. Hurry - Limited tags. www.artemisoutfitting.com
Official Measurer: Pope and Young Club, NW Big Game Inc., National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, Oregon Shed Hunters

after a friends horror story from canada (not this outfitter) I strongly suggest getting your hunts details in writing. the hunter I  refer to shot a moose  and when the turbo otter showed up to haul him out he was forced to leave the meat. the piolt said that was how they feed their bears. a turbo otter had plenty of room for 4 more moose. needless to say he was pisssssed to the 4th power.

do your research, get it in wrting and refer to this story when talking to your booking agent....and get it in writing.

i think the rifle in  my hand would say otherwise to leaving the meat  :dunno:
No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and Virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders.
