That time of year again.

Everything but the jumping of the snowmobiles and riding the snow banks was a way to get up some of the tiny rivers I used to run in AK.  We'd get miles beyond any other Jet boats and have the Air Boat guys asked how did you get that thing up here...  My favorite reply was "Ride it like you stole it!"
Quite scary when you took the wrong braid down river only to find a serious log jam or beaver dam and nowhere for a u-turn, ok hang on were going over it!   I miss that type river running and my old Jet Boat....   Cool video for sure..

Never ceases to amaze me what people think to try when they got nothin better to do. Till one of them breaks their neck, then they won't think it's cool. I'll keep my boat in the water and sled in the snow.

Good times.  A little rough on expensive toys, but fun looking.

Exactly!  People would be surprised how far a boat will slide over brush and gravel.  Just yell, "by land or by sea!!!", and hope you didn't jam too many sticks and crap into the impeller grate.

Awesome video

Ran a 2 inch tunnel but spent plenty of time cleaning out the grates: rocks, sticks to spawned out pinks salmon...yuck....  I rubbed my old one through the alum, it started leaking pretty bad, so in the winter we flipped it over, buddy welded the bare spots and then cut an alum tube and welded it over the indented tubes on the boat.  It was then a river/gravel rock stud, till I put a four inch hole in it about 16 miles up river in the middle of nowhere... :bdid:  I like that comment "by land or by sea"...lol

Any one know about running the Snake?  Would love to go through the canyon, but as a follower the first time...

Would love to ride with someone doing that, but no way I would abuse my boat that way if I had one.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
