He's been around a couple years.  So has that big collared six.  I should dig up some old pics of them.  Don't know where they hide during the season.  I guess If I did, he'd be barbecued tonight.

Bowpredator's reply made me wonder why some people go to the length they do for antlers.  Money, prices for antler are the lowest they have been in quite some years, can't be the reason.  Is it just my pile is bigger than yours?

It is addicting, I am going to try moose up above Spokane one of these days and a trip to the Blues for elk sheds maybe this year

No kidding, I absolutely love the thrill of seeing just a speck of antler, and then climbing up or down to pull this special gift out of a tuft of grass or bush. (This is the only bone I like to remove from a bush...  :chuckle:) The anticipation is incredible. The wonder, how many miles has this travelled? What type of year did this deer experience? Was it chased by a cougar, battle with other deer, how did it survive the hunt, where was it hiding? ....very cool emotions and thoughts as you shed hunt. Good exercise too, and god knows I need the exercise. Just wish gas prices would fall soon.

I meant 'why break the law and pick up and stash sheds in the Oak Creek Wildlife Recreation Area for no real profit'  I understand the shed hunting pasttime reasons.
