You want to drive from Spokane over to the wet side to dig a few butter clams? Yer crazy or I have mis understood you.

I think you can still dig on Hood canal at Potlach state park. Not sure of the season or if you would stand any chance of finding many. I wouldn't make that drive for a few clams. You could mail order them and have them shipped cheaper.

good luck

If you had some access privileges, I am sure some of these guys would be happy to bring you some over for hunting opportunities....
I would if I was heading over that way, but unless I get my eastern (turkey) or get drawn for moose, it will be a while before I get over to that side of the state....

I would fill my cooler with Salmon and shellfish of all kinds for a guy who could get me good private lands to hunt for Turkeys!!!!

Any takers?

Why not, some of us west siders drive all the friggin way over to the NE for a shot at a grouse or a turkey... and I can buy chicken and a butterball at Freddies two blocks away...

Yeah, try walking into freddies carrying a shotgun and blowing on a diaphram call, dressed head to toe in camo and a face mask, bet ya make CNN..

To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

hey there fishcrazy! I may not be able to get you private land but I can get you on some turkeys. I used to pro staff for quaker boy game calls, and do seminars, at the big horn show in Spokane so I know where the birds are. Interested?
