No kidding I'd much rather have five cows from the san juan in Utah than one bull that some poacher or neighbor sould shoot first chance they got.  A good cow could have 3-5 off spring in there life too.

Someone told me buyers actually go to that ranch where the auction was held and shoot them. Kind of the second hand lion affect. Anyone see that movie. :chuckle:
They made it very clear that was not an option to buyers at this ranch.
Economy failure = Too many people spending money they don't have on things they don't need to impress people they don't like.

Yep. they also said that there were ranches that you could transport them to for hold over or to "hunt".  Some awesome bulls though.  One of my buddies in Prineville knows the ranch well.  I'll have to call and ask him a little more about it.
