Nice Bucks for sure. What elevation are those at. I didnt think the snow was that deep over there this year.

Were are around 2800ft, and your right we don't have much snow, this was taken right after a 6in snow fall that melted off shortly. Right now we only have a bout 7 inches and most of our southern slopes are bare'n off. Right now it seems more like the end of March instead of February 2. Bucks are starting to drop their horns, found a nice three in the barn this morning.

Nice photo's.  I'm not sure if its just me, but my dad and I were talking about the weather the other day, and to us it almost feels like were about a month off on the seasons the last few years.  Like winter is coming early and leaving early.  Might just be a perception, wonder if anyone else gets that feeling.

This winter came late I thought, and then we had a cold spell in December and January is usually the cold snap. So I think we are a month behind. I heard on the news out of Spokane last night that 1900 was the last winter like this year. I like the shorter winters as you know the winters can be rather long here in the Methow. Other parts of the country are in a hell of a fix, maybe it's Gods way of telling certain people that there is no such thing as global warming? ;)

Winters are long in the Methow because you keep chasing them damn wolves around!! :chuckle:
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
