Here is 1 from this god foresaken hell hole we call the desert unit. I got lucky and stumbled on to 1. There were boot tracks within 20 yards of this thing and somehow they missed it. Cell phone pic so its not very good. 1 more muley brown.

Hit two nasty blacktail thickets recently and come up with about a dozen beds, three live deer and ZERO sheds.  One probable buck stayed bedded until I was within about 8 yards.  I was on my hands and knees due to the tangled brush and never saw him until he stood and slipped out.  I could see his dark tarsal glands as he left so I'm sure it was a buck.  I was sure I'd come out with a nice match set from this area.  :bash:

Eight more for me and the boyfriend: all whites with the exception of a suprising whitetail shed. Not usually an area we find whitetails! Also saw our first mother-cub combo of the season. I'll get all of the photos up soon... the boyfriend took off for a hike this morning while I slept in.. and took my camera! So here's a few for now:

I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Add 3 more to that total thanks to an afternoon out with the mother! All white, all mulies. I have a lot of catch-up work to do on the photos!

last weekend, my dad and I went shed hunting. I found a 4 point white tail and a 1x1 (spike) skull, we took a picture or two, but we did'nt take it. I don't know if the skull counts in the contest or not... :dunno:

You have as many brown as I have total! I am putting a tracking device on your rig next year.
