Hey XXX, what other bows do you carry? I have always wanted to visit your shop. Gotta get down that way soon.

How's that destroyer holding up for you? You should post a couple pics. I probably would of bought a Z7, but that's just me. I don't like to have any problems, especially equipment failure. ;)
i think coldsteel is just messing with septemberhunt because we both shoot mathews and after he bought it.  The bow blew apart the string in three pieces not to mention what happened to the limbs.  im laughing because he forgot to mention it.  i still dont think he has it fixed yet. :chuckle: :chuckle:thats not to say i wouldnt shoot a bowtech but just some good rivalry in hunting camp this year.

Is that a pretty common problem? The strings breaking after a couple days of shootin'.   :dunno:

no but you just dont know what goes on after the bow goes home :dunno:
I had 2 new bows sold this week come back yesterday....Dry Fired....by friends and family.
I have seen Peeps with a bur in them and it will cut the string...fast...I know of 2 other Destroyers that
had a Dry Fire and they bolth had the string brake....bowtech is running 20 strand strings on the destroyers
just like Mathews.

I picked-up my Destroyer 350 from Cory and Dustin a couple of weekends ago.  I only have about 100 shots down range, but no issues.  I anticipate it'll stay that way.  BTW, I treat my bows with the same love and care as I do my firearms.

I did not mention that my string broke because  it was not Bowtech or XXX fault that I had a bad peep or my arrow knock was bad. My limbs are fine it just broke my string. It could have happened with any bow company. It  took a 11 days to get my bow back had to wait for XXX to get a string from bowtech. But I have my bow back now. Thanks XXX for taking care of it. :)

I just want to clarify that I was in no way saying anything bad about xxx, I have not heard anything but excellent reviews about the shop. I am on the other hand a fan of Mathews and know personally 6-8 bowtech fans who have had a lot of problems with their bows in the last 2-3 years, now I know that Nowtech makes a great bow, but I still feel that Mathews makes a better product. That is just my opinion, but I know a lot of guys with Mathews, even more than I do Bowtechs, and have yet to see a problem. In my original post I was making an inside joke to septemberhunt, who I hunt with every year and is a very good friend of mine, those who took it the wrong way, I'm sorry. And again Cory, I've heard nothing but good things about you and your shop, I didn't mean any disrespect to either.   ;)

Hopefully this one can dodge limbs! Than the big bulls won't be so fortunate.   :chuckle:

lol i agree it should all be in good fun i am a huge pse fan and have about 30 people that i know that are shooting the xforce modles never one problem with any bow. i know about 5 bowtech shooters and all have had problems. i know about 10 people shooting matthews and one a few have had problems. and about 4 hoyt shooters and only one had a problem. so its all in good fun and every one has there own  :twocents: i own 13 bows right now but pse is my fave. i have pse, hoyt, proline, bear, jennings, oneida, browning, ben pearson so i am a archery freak as well and there are not to many bows out there that i have not shot. most are good bows but my fave is pse but don't bash other but maybe tease a little  :chuckle:
