Thats a great blacktail for anyone, congradualtions to him hope he doesnt get too discouraged trying to top that one, maybe a long time before he can accomplish that feat!!

When the bucks were growing their headgear, the weather cleared up and it didn't rain much at all during their growing season. This helped get some large racks on the BT bucks for the '09 season.
Rain washes out a lot of the nutrients and this often causes small racks on big bucks.----That is a very interesting theory, wondering if there are any studies to support it. I must admit that living in Utah, I know little about lots of rain or Blacktail deer
