thats cool we have a set that was about 300 yards apart they are very big. we found them about a week apart. no picks and was about 3 years ago i want the right cape and going to get them mounted and have one from the year after wish i could of found the other side for 2 matched sets. from the same deer. maybe on of these days i will post some pics. :chuckle:

The first sheds I ever found were a matched set. 4 pt elk sheds. I was walking down an old skid road and found one, and was all excited, walked another 50 feet and found the other one. I didn't put it together at first! Young ignorance...

Matched set mature blacktail in the reprod.  You'd never know this photo was taken mid-day in bright sun!

The area I search is to damn steep! Only found one pair together...all the rest flop downhill a bit it seems...  Check the buckbrush!

awesome bulls! keep an eye on those boys. march is right around the corner. That looks like west side country, I've never trompped around the east side so I'm not sure if theres alot of alder and ferns there. any insight from the east siders?
