For real?
« on: January 29, 2010, 09:17:17 PM »
I got this pic in an email today.
Does anyone know story or if is real.  :dunno: Supposedly 317lbs. Shot near Wenatchee , WA  on Wednesday.  Note the size of the paws.  :yike:

Now therefore, please take your weapons, your quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field and hunt game for me
Genesis 27:3

I may not have alot but what I have I got honest.....

I'd rather be hated for what I am then be loved for what I'm not

Is it me, or are people getting dumber

If I saw a 300# cougar, first, i'd $#!t myself, then I'd unload my gun, and then my partners gun as fast as I could, then run... Fast
I hunt, therefore I am.... I fish, therefore I lie.

Funny how the internet promotes such BS. My dad was showing me an email he got jsut the other day about a grizzly that got hit and killed by a Harley. As soon as I saw the pictures I knew instantly it was a lie even though the pics were real. Originally the bear had been hit by a semi in montana and the original pictures had circulated sometime this past year.

I was informed it was 300+ lbs as well and it came from a no BS hunter who I'm guessing was fed BS themself.

Either way that is one BIG cat  :yike:

I had a patient the other day bring in this same picture and shows it to me.  Say's he was sent the pic by his cousin who was a friend of the guy who killed it.  Look at this monster he says, weighed in at 317lbs.  I just smiled and said WOW, big cat.  I saw it like a month ago or so on here and recognized it as the 130-140lb Cat the guy who killed it said it was.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.
