Is it true??  Buddy of mine met with a WDFW offical yesterday.  Anyway, he claims  Christine Gregoire was caught using illeagle traps to kill moles??

If you buy the mole traps sold at Dels, farm and home, etc...they are illegal to use..... they were banned along with other body gripping traps....its the fallout of passing legislation that didn't need to be passed to begin with....there is a whole other thread on this in the trapping section I do believe.

If they make a big deal of this for political hay then it will be tough to let farmers and homeowners off in the future.

That's good, but the problem with it is that the voters would then see cougars as The Saviors of Our Fine State (they would have a point) and soon outlaw cougar hunting forever... :chuckle:
