In the crevice
« on: January 26, 2010, 10:19:32 PM »

I was able to get out today for a few hours. Hiked an area that I always find sheds in. Crossed some cougar and bobcat tracks.
Spotted a small bull moose with both sides still attached to his head. After walking for a few hours I managed to find this late in the afternoon.
He'd been there a few years.
Nothing fresh. I did see a nice 5 point buck carrying both sides on my way out. I guess that explains it.

Cool!  I always look in chutes like that and have yet to find anything.  It's nice to see it payoff.
