Summer fishing trip

Went to Chinook Wa. on my birthday. Limited out on my birthday,and caught 2 the next day.

Smoked,canned,bbq,or poor mans lobster.The poor mans lobster is excellent.

That right there is words of wisdom.  I'm not sure I have ever eaten Sturg in a cooking style I have not liked.

     Great pics of those sturgeon. Looks like you guys had a good time fishing. They are excellent smoked. :chuckle: Its time to go fishing.

  Well I got a pic so I might as well show it off. Caught this yesterday after work, 1/28, 51" to the notch(new measure) 57" overall, just because I like the old way ;), heading out the door right now to try it again.

Licking my chops looking at those sturgeon.  Only tried it once, but damn it was good.  I'm gonna have to get me a few!

 Acording to WDFW and the Cowliyz indians smelt don't exist any more, well they won't be there feb 6th so did they ever exist in the first place, better get em on that ESA list quick. :bdid: Once they get listed thay sure are a pain to delist.
