If you have a problem typing a large amount of text in a post
« on: February 05, 2010, 04:56:47 PM »
I was having a problem for quite a while now where when I got to the bottom of the reply window, it wouldn't scroll down as I typed, so I couldn't see what I was typing. I could go to the right and use the scroll bar to go down and see it, but as soon as I typed another letter it would jump up again. It made it very frustrating at times.

I found the fix for that today and thought I better make a post here about it for others who I am sure must be having the same problem. This is only if you are using Internet Explorer 8. Go to Tools. There is an option in there called Compatibility View. Turn that on and the problem will go away. It lets the website run as if it were an older version of Internet Explorer. Wish I would have known that was the problem all along. I thought it was just something to do with the website.

what a show off...
:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

And that is why I use Mozilla Firefox... no such issues.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
