Looking for some steelhead
« on: February 06, 2010, 09:35:36 AM »
If anyone is getting any steelhead, I am looking for some to mount up. I can give you back all the meat just not the skin.

If you can bring me one, just do not gut it, have a towel, wet the towel up and wrap it up in that, and then either put it on ice or in the freezer.

If you are catching them and can't make it up here then PM and I can come to you.

I just have not been able to get out yet this year, with watching baby girl and the wife being deployed...

Thanks

Hopefully going in a week or 2. Probably to The Methow. Welcome to have one if I catch some

How big? Does size matter?

Ribka, Thank you, size does not matter, if you get some with more coloring than others I would be more interested in that....

Thanks again

Need any reference pics?

I have some that I have taken just incase somebody needs them for a reproduction someday.

Hound -- Nothing in particular, just wanting to do some different things on them, if you get some with some real good color that would be the best.
