Redfield Revolution scope
« on: September 11, 2010, 06:32:25 PM »
So I am looking to put a scope on a .300 Win Mag.  Anybody have any experience with this scope?  I was going to put a VX-II 3-9x40 on it but was going through the latest Cabelas catalog and saw this scope.  I know it is made by Leupold but have not seen one personally.  I went through the last couple pages of the forum but only saw one member that has one.  Any thoughts?

My Dad has the 4-12x40 Redfield Revolution and I have the 3-9x40.  Both on coyote rifles.  Dad's has the drop compensating reticle and mine has the standard duplex.  So far, they hold their zero and are pretty clear.  The drop compensating reticle seems to work pretty good out to 400 yards.  So far, they are great for the money.

I've got a 2-7x33 on a rifled 12ga that I've put over 100rds through with and its still holding up well.  For the money range its a decent scope in my mind.
