Sounds like Ross bows are going cheap now
« on: March 04, 2010, 08:00:41 PM »
I talked to a buddy, and he said that Andy Ross bought Ross Archery back from Bowtech.  It sounds like the bows that Bowtech made came with the deal, so they are selling cheap right now.  I've heard of a bunch of brand new Carnivores going for $275-300.  That is a smoking price on a great bow any time.

That's interesting news.  Have you looked at the Quest line of bows?  G5 was making Andy Ross's risers for him, and it looks like G5 may have come away with Andy's design ideas.  Not cheap though.

last nov i bought a brand new carnivore (2009 edition) that was totally set up and included 6 carbon arrows, field and broadheads, release and hard case for $600.  love the thing just have to get plenty of shooting in this year before the next hunting season.  i thought that was a great deal.
