Will be held at the Whidbey Island Bowmen's archery club on the 20th and 21st of Feb.  Saturday is the fun shoot,  casual start 8AM to 2PM.  Sunday is the Buckle shoot and the final day of our shoot (2 events in 1).  Even if you are not in the Buckle shoot there will be awards for Sunday'scores, must shoot both days for the Non-Buckle trophies.  Come on up to the Island and join in a fun and challenging shoot!  Saturday will be 32 targets and Sunday only 30 for the Buckle.   I will hopefully get the 1st leg scores from Wilderness and get them posted on our website tomorrow.  Fee's are $10 per day for adult, $7 for youth and $5 for cub.  Family cap of $43 for the whole weekend.  So bring the family and enjoy.  Camping is free on site.  As always I'd like to say thanks to Roger at Wilderness archery   and Gary at Riverside archery   for supporting our clubs and shoots with their door prize donations.   :archery_smiley:

If you are new to archery and 3D,  come on out and shoot!  You will be addicted.  As mentioned in other threads, if you are new.... and just want to shoot it for fun, come on out and you can move up to a more comfortable range and just hold on to your score card..... 3D and archery is for fun.  Hope to see many of the members here at the shoot.  Stop by and say hi to me.... always great to meet members of this forum.

I am trying to get them and post them on the whidbey site,  I'll see if Roger has them and can email them to me.

We received our order of new Rhinehart targets!  ($3200 worth) So expect to see some new targets out there this time!  We should now be 95% or better with Rhineharts.  Our goal here is to get 100% by the end of the year.  Thanks to Roger at Wilderness for ordering these for us!

I here you got one of the bedded Bull Elk.  that target could cause a wreck in the right setting (under a tree in your front yard) thing is pretty close to live looking as they get.
Roger happen to put a copy of the scores with the targets form the first leg?  I was up there last night for got to ask :bash:

That bedded Bull Elk is huge!   It'll be a good one as we have a few spots out there to make it a fun shot!  ;)  Here are the new targets we got...

Bedded Bull Elk
Bedded doe
feeding doe
Alert Tom Turkey
Fox
White Boo bear
Duckbill dinosaur (to go with that damn velociraptor that kicks my butt)  :yike:
Seems like forgetting is my forte... I had him on the phone 2 times yesterday and fogot to ask him to email them to me...  :bash:

The buckle is a side tournament using just the Sunday scores.  Sat and Sunday is also the Whidbey shoot,  so yes you still pay the other fee.  The $20 for the Buckle shoot is just to be in the Buckle competition over the 3 different club shoots.

Shoot is in the books!  Thanks to everyone that came out and enjoyed the weather!  Great shoot with a huge turnout.  Scores from this shoot and the buckle shoot (both days so far) should be on our website later!   Hope everyone enjoyed the new rhineharts,  and we will be buying more soon.  Some great shooting out there thisw weekend.  Awesome to see that many families with the kids!  THanks again to Roger at Wilderness Archery and Gary at RIverside Archery for donating all the great door prizes.     Being a stick shooter it was a blast having that many Traditional shooters!   :archery_smiley:   Huge turn out in all categories!  THanks again,  and hope to see many of you this next weekend at Wilderness for the Blueface Indoor.   :hello:
