Down in Booneville, MS in the late 90's. Had some friends that lived down there. I loved the hunting in the south. A hell of alot of birds.

seems like there are a high number of scoters that are banded. maybe it's a higher ratio? only scoter hunt I went on this year yielded a banded drake.

it was a good launch. that's not my boat, a friend took us out. my only bay worthy boat is a 20ft lund. it is painted green, but I would never molest it with camo.  I need to figure out how to build a nice removable blind for it by next season though because I'd like to spend as much time in the big bays as I do in the tidal flats and marshes. that sea ducking is addictive.

Good to see a bunch of real bands.  The first pick is a good e-bay set up.   :bash:

You are so right! These days all you need is $20 and a computer to become a "seasoned duck hunter".

The good thing is the seasoned duck hunters can pick them out pretty easily 95% of the time.   ;)  The non-seasoned duck hunter posts a pick of fakes not knowing better.   :bash:
