I wonder how many of the Cabelas or any store mounts are shed horns. The last time I was at Cabelas I noticed one of the elk had been chewed on by a rodent?
Lead em if they're running.

Not a very eye appealing rack. :twocents:

I wouldn't be so nice... I'd just call it what it is... UGLY!!!   I wouldn't pay 10 cents for that thing.

The fact that it is a reproduction, and someone wants 3500.00 is what makes it unappealing. God knows how rare a non-typical is. We all love antlers, they're beautiful in how they grow. A true record trophy no matter how odd the shape. Gods touch in wildlife art. We as hunters cherish our antlers, sheds and racks alike, but it is unethical to copy and cheapen the real thing.

I would still think it is ugly if it was the real thing and wouldn't want it on my wall.

So you're saying you would pass it up if it were in your sights? You might have a change in opinion if it were your trophy.

No, I wouldn't pass it up. I just wouldn't mount the head and hang it on my wall.
