Hello again thanks for all the response, finnman knows his deer this one was shot on a ranch out of kahlotus. the sucess rate this year very high 95% or so. This one was bedded with his does ,my brother spotted him from a insane distance away and let me know where he was, after about 30 minutes straight up at a crazy pace thanks to another hunting buddy, he is one of those guy to dumb to know he is tired, and i to stubborn to not keep up we came out right above him, at this point the 20 does around him saw us. The time was now he wasn't about to stick around, first shot was a miss low, i saw bullet the impact so i raised up #2 of 300win mag found home down he went. Now after all that i had time to range find it 403 yards down hill, i perfer stocking alot closer than that, but given no time you take what you get.thanks again for all the good words, i will attach pics of other deer including my twin brothers so don't think i killed two.

Hello all,

Oh it is true, there is two of us.  Double trouble on mule deer population in Washington State.  As my brother stated, the 2007 hunt was a good one.  Three nice bucks taken in Eastern WA.  I can't wait for the 2008 WA. season.

Happy Hunting!

Nice work- and thanks for the story.   Was this a pay to play ranch?

...7+ months to go..  :bash:  That's the problem with this forum.  It's too good.  I've got deer & elk on the brain daily.  Now I need to buy one of those retirement count-down clocks for deer/elk season. :chuckle:
