I have a pup that Ryan trained during his spring training for a month. When I got him back he was gun broke and whoa broke I killed 5 chukar over him and he retrieved them all at the end of his training.. I think he did a great job on my dog. He has been on 200 to 300 birds this year and  has had around 50 killed over him so far his first year. I would recommend Ryan as a trainer.

I don't have any personal experience but I've seen a couple dogs from there and I was impressed.  The owners had nothing but good things to say about these guys.  If I decide to get a setter they will be on my short list.

Hi,
Ryan use to train with Tiger Mountain. If you want a referral I am sure they'd give you one. He has ventured out on his own, like most assistants will do eventually. He has the experience. I have seem him run some nice labradors but, not sure about the setters. However, the labs at tiger mountain are pointing thus, Ryan has a lot of experience in different breeds and styles.
Good luck with your pup:)

I have a lab gsp cross.  I called him up yesterday to see if I could go check out some dogs and he said he is just force fetch training right now but he will start training with birds in april so I am going to go over there then and take a look.  From the little bit I talked to him he seems like a cool guy. Gave me some helpfull training tips over the phone.
