Am I reading this right??? You don't want to disclose your arrow weight, because it might void your warranty. Your owners manual says not to shoot an arrow under 5 grains per pound? And your ok with that??? If your bow would have cracked a limb when you did this, :dunno: would you have sent it back for new warranty limbs :dunno:
And your doing this in front of a licensed Mathews dealer, and he is ok with that. WTF
If any of this info is wrong please correct me.

This may just be me but every time I "WENT" to Rainier archery I was pretty much ignored even though I was the only one in the store. Every time I asked a question they barely answered me and just kind of blew me off like they didnt want to help me. I asked them to put a peep into my string and adjust the draw length. They adjusted the draw length and put my peep in but lost my clamp for my drop away, served it into the wrong spot and didnt tie in the peep. It took them 4 days. I redid it after I bought a press and it took me 10 minuits. It seemed like they didnt want me to be there unless I was dropping one grand on a bow. Has anyone else noticed this? They seem to be popular but if they treat everyone this way I dont know how. I believe customer service is first, without the customer you dont have a business, the guys at rainier archery should remember that, because they lost a customer here.

Man you really got a big hangnail or somethingthing festering don't you. Why dont you go get a red hot poker and dig that boil out of your behind.

Pick pick pick. How many times you gonna keep picking. :chuckle:

Oh and by the way the arrow was quite a bit heavier than most of you think.

Jared, the speed your getting is cool. I should let John speak for himself, but  I won't.  Knowing John, he probably doesn't care about your "speed bow". What he does care about are your personal values, as I do, and I sure others do as well. Have fun with your new toy, but when somthing breaks, man up and pay for it, don't warranty it. That wheel turns pretty slow sometimes, but it always comes back around.... Later

I'm not trying to stir the pot here, but if that bow does let go and come apart on you, you are going to try to get it repaired under warranty?  I think this is one of the reasons prices are so high on equipment nowadays, the companies have to inflate their prices to make up for bullsh!t claims.  Just my  :twocents:

Shooting 400+ is fine, just don't put anyone else in danger. I don't care what you do as long as you don't put others in harms way. Hell, build a 2000 pound bow and hook up your fancy dodge motor to pull it back.  :chuckle:

Like I said in one of my earlier posts. On this type of thread it does not matter what I post I am going to get thrashed either way. If I posted that I am not disclosing the arrow weight because I do not want to encourage someone else to attempt this and hurt themselves or someone else or break something............then some of you on here will still blame me for trying to cover something up. Like I said, any reason I give is not going to be good enough for some on here. That is the bottom line.

There are alot of people on this site that seem to enjoy finding fault in what others are doing. I am not sure why. I do know that many are other shop owners and are looking for any way possible to make another shop owner look bad to garner more business for themselves. Unfortunatly many times this backfires on them. I will add that in all the years I have been doing this I have never broken an arrow, never once had any bow I have shot break or fail in any way. I have always been very methodical about what I and we have been doing. The fact of the matter is that the XLR8 was engineered to be the Fastest Baddest Bow on Planet Earth. It Is. It was designed to do just what I did with it. I was never worried for one second of any sort of falure. I have been doing this for a good long time and I know what will work.

I feel kind of like I am being drilled by the "Spanish Inquisition." Some people on here in their minds have already been to the judge jury and executioner for something that never happened. Something that has actually never happened in the past either. Nothing more than a bunch of Jealous hype stirred up by envious jealous shop owners who want all of the attention and business for themselves. There is nothing here to crucify me over other than being "passionate over the things I love doing." If that is a crime then get a rope and hang me!!!!! The funny thing is that I was never asked by anybody in a private message. Not a single person. So this simply lends weight to the fact that people are simply wanting to tear down somebodies reputation by bringing out anything they possibly can that is bad on an open forum to defame the other person or shop. They may not realise it but allot of people can see through all this crap for what it really is. All the crap that happened before and Joe is selling stronger than ever.

Now for the part you shop owners dread hearing. I have never ever been steered wrong by Joe or anybody else that works at "Rainier Archery". The service and attention to detain has been second to none. I have been to other shops. I have been told that's good enough when it is not shooting bullets through paper at those shops:dunno: I have never had an equipment failure with any of my gear that Joe recommended. Thanks "Rainier Archery" for all the years of great service. I give a large part of credit for my success in the hunting fields to you guys. Teaching me how to shoot and always recommending the right equipment and setups.  :)

I'll just be sure to give this thread link to all my custom bowyer friends... cause I'll guarantee not one of them will sell you a bow.. .*censored*, I can get 250 fps out of my longbows... but they wont hold together very long... And guess what, physics are physics... your arrow is WAY too light if you are getting 411....
