Something positive in everything I was told to believe. Maybe for your kids it is a lesson of this world that greed will take advantage of you no matter how nice a person you are. Teach this to your kids, and maybe they can make a difference in the future of us all as leaders. We may not come in first with trophys to showoff to others, but can certainly know we are better in other respects. My grandfather and Dad would have just beat the *censored* out of him infront of the kids to display the difference between wrong and right, which I think was a quicker resolve of minor conflicts than todays legal process of law.
