Your not even allowed to burn more than 400gal of home brew diesel per quarter... The burning oil in your diesel will be hard to enforce for Joe 6 pack... If you use it for commercial purposes the State CVE officers WILL dip your tank from time to time... I had a buddy that put some ATF in his log truck and got dipped!
they thought he was running offroad fuel... He was able to prove he wasn't and avoided the $5000 fine.... Don't know too many Joe's that have had their tank dipped... BTW they are looking for different colored fuel.

off road fuel can be re colored with other things but you will have a hard time if they hit it with a black light. I'm told it has UV dye as well and they don't even need to dip yer tank. Just hit it with UV light around the fill neck..
I have never been dipped and have run some red fuel. My truck has no badges and looks like a gas rig except for the big azz aftermarket 5" strait pipe hanging out.
the places they dip are farm animal auctions and equipment auctions like Richy Bro. Just driving around town you won't get it.
I have been told that guys who are around the auctions need to be careful of what additive they use so as not to deal with the hastle of going to court over a ticket.

Apparently 7% WMO is allowed by the EPA from what I've read. I've never been dipped and don't see any reason why I would be. I doubt any of the police in my town are even prepared to dip.
Make sure if you do run WMO to read up on it first and make sure your diesel can handle it. I know the 7.3l Powerstrokes can as well as the 12v cummins. The 24v cummins are finicky and the vp44 can have issues due to higher viscosity, so far mine is fine. The Common rail (03+) dodges and 6.0l powerstrokes are not recommended for running WMO. I would only run filtered oil as well from a reputable source and stay far away from synthetics.

They don't call them oil burners for no reason do they. LOL
Local cops won't do anything. It's the commercial staters that will get ya. Just don't be putting up a smoke show when they are around and we should be fine.

My quadzilla tuner de-fuels to make "clean power" until it hits around power level 6 of 10 then it can't control it anymore. Unfortunately my lift pump cant keep up with the tuner right now so it stays on level 2, minimal smoke unless I hit the smoke switch
Time for a Fass or raptor 150 lift pump, some sticks, and a new tranny
