Whidbey Coyote hunting?
« on: February 16, 2010, 05:49:39 PM »
I've been trying to find a spot to coyote hunt on Whidbey Island.  It's tough to go too far off the island right now.  I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not is what ok to hunt around Crockett Lake by the Keystone Ferry.  I drove by yesterday and saw a coyote sitting on the edge of one of the fields.  I know there is public access for waterfowl hunting (even though I hear it isn't worth the time) but is OK to blast a coyote there?  It should help the waterfowl hunting. :)  Thanks.

Hey Patton1,  almost any of the bigger farms will allow coyote hunting,  just start knocking on doors.  The public area off 20 just south of libbey road has some yotes....

Thanks guys.  Works has been kicking my by butt and it looks like it might stay that way for a little while.  I don't know if I'll get a chance to go anytime soon.  We'll see!  Dannysdaddy, it would be great to meet.  I've actually been meeting a lot more people on this island that hunt, than I ever thought I would.  I'll PM you with my info.  NWWABOWHNTR, I am going to fill out that application and send it in soon.
