Remington 597 Recall

Wow what a turn around at Remington, I called last fall and asked for mine to be re-barreled and they said they would not do that. So I heard a rumor that they will now do that. Today I called them and they said they had a change in policy and would be happy to re-barrel my 17 to a 22 mag. I just wanted to thank all who called and bitched......it helped. The new rifle company that listens to it's customers.
