giggers?  you mean diggers lol yeah they are starting up around here as well a little early to start smacking them yet most of the time april may is when i like cause all the little ones are out we sat in one spot and shot 26 diggers in 30 mins  :chuckle: that was a blast.

Hey I remember eating several of those back in the late 80's early 90's (getting old can't remember).  Was down on the Klick outside of Goldendale when we had a big fire down there.  If I remember right it was the same year we went from there to the Natches for another fire.  We made "green bows" and stick arrows then cooked em up.  Not bad with a little salt and pepper and tobasco sauce.  They tasted much much better than the sack lunches they were shipping out to us on the fire.

Snow just finished off melting here, hoping they start popping up. New rifle needs some more kills. haha and i go by colors to tell what kind they are. The scope really helps

i saw a guy one time shooting a squirrel in a tree and when it hit the ground he said it was a grey digger and i told him it was a pine squirrel :yike: he very quickly left needless to say.
