First taxidermy mounts
«
on:
February 18, 2010, 02:31:49 PM »
We all started somewhere. Don't be shy...................
My first deer mount. I got a free cape from a sage buck and put it with a set of mountain bones. It was my first deer project. I did it with one little hundred watt bulb in my basement, with no tools or gear.

It was kinda tough. I had zero direction. I did a self tan, had no idea about thinning lips or whatever. I had no idea about how to deal with the cartilledge in thw ears..... Lots of things I've done wrong but It was FUN!
