Last time I went to a WAC show I was looking for a beater 1022.After finding a few for $275+ I stoped at joes on the way home and bought one new for $199

That's funny you said that because Birdguy and I had this very conversation on the way home saturday..  Why is it a 10/22 that has had 5000 rounds through and was $219 new a couple years ago, is now worth $275?

Well there were more guys waiting in line at 745 Saturday than I have ever seen at Puyallup..  But I will say that there were about 10 guns that I actually looked at and thought about buying.  I also got a very nice Leupold VX-III 3.5-10 with Butler Creek Scope Covers for $275 so I think it was worth the trip.

I found sweet deals on reloading dies, 10 bucks a set for my .243 and 30-06, and 15 bucks for my .222 rem.  8)
I also bought a 1917 Eddystone barrled action for 100 bucks.  I think I made out all right.
There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.
