Easton FMJ your thoughts

Thinking of switching to Easton FMJ 400's. Anyone shoot these and your thoughts. Currently shoot Beman ICS Hunter 340's from my Reezen 6.5 28" draw at 71lbs

I shoot a Bowtech Tribute 28" 82# and shoot the FMJ 340.  They are spendy but well worth it IMHO.  I heve shot quite a few different arrows and these are by far my favorite.  With 125Gr Slick Trick broadheads I can almost blow clean through my target at 20 yards and bury past the fletching at anything less than 40.  None of my other arrow/broadhead combinations have been able to do that.  My

you might surf threw the archery section we had a thread going about the fmj on there a little while back. i have used them and took seceral animals in new zealand with them they are good i give them a B+ overall just a bit heavy went down to 75grain heads to be close to my normal weight but i was still like 50 grains + even with the 75g head.

If you are shooting the ICS hunter 340 you should use the FMJ 340.  The 400 will be to weak for your set-up

I am shooting a alphamax at 70lbs and shooting FMJ 340s and love them.  They dive deeper into the target than my regular easton axis arrows

I would stay away from the 75 grain heads for an adult shooting over 55lbs it will mess up your FOC.

I switched over this year to the FMJ from the Axis. I love them so far!

Been using FMJ's for the last two years, have had pass throughs on everything I shot.

thanks for the thought but i have shooting a bow since i was 6 and own 13 bows to boot i kinda know what i am doing. my xforce at 83lbs with a 500 grain arrow was just fine for me and killed every animal i shot just fine.

yes they do bend like reg alum arrows but not as easy.

i used them last year i really liked them but they bend like aluminum. i have shot beaman mfx in the past and am going back to them this year very durable and just as strait. that is my  the fmj are very strait all 12 were perfect

i do not shoot them anymore, still have some but like my goldtips better.

Thanks for the input. What about penetration farther out, say 40 to 60 yds compared to other arrows.

since they are usally heavyer they do have more penetration and the smaller die of the arrow also helps with this. they always did go a little deaper into the target than my goldtips.

In my experience any bad shot that actually resulted in a bent arrow would have damaged the carbon arrow to the point it would have been unshootable as well so I don't really factor that into whether I would buy the arrow.

I've shoot the 340 and 400.  I like the FMJ better than other brand I've shot before.  For my setup, I got complete pass thru @ 30 yards on elk.  So, I'll stick to them.  I haven't bent any arrow yet.

Thanks for all the input. Decided on Easton Axis N-Fused 340. Decided to stick with all carbon. So far so good they are shootind great out to 60 yds.

Once I moved to Easton Arrows I have never changed, they shoot fantastically!!!! Started with Axis now shoot N-Fused. My dad is shooting something else and every time he sees me shoot my bow he is amazed at how well they fly and the penetration I get compared to his arrows... And we shoot the exact same bow!

I have a lot of confidence the the Easton line of arrows

I like the FMJs but shoot the n-Fused now, as well.  Seem to be good arrows.

Our whole groupd shoots them with shuttle t locks on various bowtechs and limbsaver bows.

We recovered one two years ago that pased clean through an elk at 65 yards cutting right through an entry side rib and flew another 50+ yards.  They are tough.....we've cut many out of an old growth fir stump at camp when people missed their targets...no damage
