What elevation

Thinking about getting out Sunday and putting on the miles for some sheds. What elevation in the Sherman area would you look at for mule deer sheds. We didn't have much snow this year??? Just look fro southern exposure, high open ridges??? Not looking for areas just tips on what to look for to find an area.
