Redfield.com is up and running.  Looks like 1 line of scopes to begin with, at this time.  They do offer a BDC reticle.

I read Leupold was starting the redfeild line up again, I didn't know they already had a web site, that's cool I'm going to check it out, I have a redfeild 2-7x32 on my 10-22 and have never had to re zero it in the 5 years I've had it

I just watched the 500 yd. shooting video.  That Accu Trac reticle looks nice.  I may have to try one out, since I am in the market for a scope.  Has a lifetime warranty, so am not to worried about it not working.  Plus, it is really a Leupold scope in a Redfield dress.

I bought a 3x9x40 a couple days ago and got it sighted in yesterday. I really like the scope it is very clear. I know i havent had it for long but im pretty convinced.

Thanks for the info lamar.  I think one of their scopes will be my next purchase.  Maybe one with the BDC reticle.

  I've had a Redfield, widefield with the accu-trac reticle since the early 70's on a 7mm weatherby mag.  Never have had to adjust it since the original site-in.  It has been a great scope and continues to be.

Next test for the new Redfields is the waterproofing.  Run water over them for a few hours to see if they leak.  My Leupold's are water tight in every western WA condition I can find.  My older Redfield widefield 3x9 was too. My older Redfield held true w/o resighting  for over 10 years.  I hope te new ones are as good.

Supposedly, they go through the same torture tests that the Leupolds go through, for shock, water proof, etc...   But in that regard only time will tell.

I am rebuilding my dad's old .300 Weatherby Mag and need to put a new scope on it.  I've been watching Ebay for deals on used Leupolds.  What do you guys think, should I stick with a used Leupold, or will these new Redfields handle the shock?

Redfields are offering the same warranty as the Leupolds.  It can not hurt.  Worst case, you have to send it back and make em fix it.  I am gonna put one on my .338 wm.  It is supposed to be able to handle it.

hubby put one on his rifle it is nice... really clear, he got it dialed in easily and was shooting nice groups and the price was good.

he didn't care for the bdc it was hard for him to see so not a real advantage.
