another lost day of hunting
« on: February 26, 2010, 06:24:01 PM »
Was going to hunt yotes tomorrow morning and once again my hunting buddy had to cancel.  I Think I am going to start hunting alone, even though I know that can be deadly.  Anybody else gets pissed when there hunting buddy cancels on you?  :bash: :bash:

yep i know the feeling what pisses me off more is when they oversleep constantly, that really gets under my skin. i honestly like going out by myself instead of having someone with me the whole time. its nice to get away and have some alone time.

Thats why i go hunting and invite my partner t come with me. If he can nt go or is late, i wil go alone.

I find it some times refreshing to hunt alone, for i only have to answer to me.

I like to hunt them up on Sauk. I too would like to hunt alone, but am afraid of rolling a ankle out there.  The guys that oversleep usually dont get invited to go out with me again LOL!

Oversleeping once may be a mistake, but twice is a character flaw.  A serious one... :nono:

that is why when i go hunting i always plan on going alone and if i invite someone i tell them straight up, im leaving my house at x time and am going in x direction if they arent at my place before x time or havent called to set a meet place it doesnt affect my day.  but i also enjoy hunting alone.  stuff comes up and life gets in the way sometimes, ive cancelled on guys before.  and oversleeping is definately not a valid excuse

Thats a sound plan, I need to adopt something like that.  There is too many of these guys that talk the talk but dont walk the walk.  Most of them seem to come from a certain area of the US as well.   >:(
