Yeah it really is lacking in the velocity dept, that's why I'm going to get a long barreled version.  Accurate as hell though.  I shot 4 coyotes with that 40gr load and only recovered one.  That one was shot through the back and out the chest, and I got an assist from my buddy with his .243.  It should be noted that most of the shots here are 250yds+.  I think it would do fine in an area with trees.

Should be fine with a decent load.  I know XM193 will do 3200fps out of a 16" but that's FMJ.

:chuckle: im gonna try and stay away from any fmj. Probably start out with 55 gr vmax and see how they shoot..then maybe down the road i'll start reloading for it. Got most of th stuff set up to reload for me and my dad's .300rum. Next will be for the .223

My guess is it's a 37mm flare launcher, but it certainly looks the part.

If it were an M203 I wouldn't post pics of it.   :bdid:

Anybody ever use tracer rounds?

Here is mine.  Haven't had it long and there is plenty of extras I would love to have.  Its a Colt 6940LE with the monolithic rail system and flip up sights.

Will hunt for food.
