Went out for a drive and a hike today.
I thought this was a doe at first as it had a little one with it (last years) and the small neck / big belly, but then I noticed the bumps.

Driving up a road I noticed this hawk on the ground along side the road. I thought something was wrong as it only flew a short distance.

Then it flew a little farther.

And then it decided to sit here for a bit.

I found a deer rib cage on the other side of the road. I think the hawk was feeding, heard my truck and tried to fly away but the heavy winds pushed it back down. It had a hard time trying to get from tree to tree. About 500 yards away, it flew above me and landed in another tree and just watched me for a bit.
Then I ran into this fat little bugger.
